PRIMARY COORDINATOR

Dear Parents,

We have already past the half way mark of this term. Most of the teachers have started assessing students on various topics covered in class. In addition to these tests, in week six and seven, all Grade 1-6 students will complete PAT R and PAT M tests. These standardised tests indicate the level at which our students are working. Encourage students to do more literacy and numeracy activities at home and guide them through. This will help them in achieving their educational goals. I have few reminders to share with you.

Water Bottles

Days are getting hotter and water is the best choice to keep your kids hydrated throughout the day. It is important that they bring their water bottles with them every day.

Healthy Snacks

Proper nutrition is important as kids grow, and snack time should be just as healthy and delicious as breakfast, lunch and dinner. Instead of reaching for something packaged and processed, parents can make the best of this opportunity by creating healthy and delicious snacks that will keep kids happy and full for a longer time. At 10 am every day, we have fruit time and we encourage them to eat fresh fruit. Our aim is to promote a healthy lifestyle which will help them in the long run to have good health.

End of Year Activity

On Friday 8th December, our students will be going to the Village Cinema to watch a movie to celebrate the end of this academic year in a pleasant and cool environment while enjoying the company of their friends. We have sent permission notes home with students. Please tick the relevant option and send the note with required amount of money in a sealed envelope. This will help us in organising transportation, tickets and snacks for the students.

Thanks a lot for your cooperation and help throughout the year. If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Kind regards,

Mrs. Amninder Malhi
Acting Primary Coordinator
